Terms of Agreement
Tutor on Target provides an educational service of short or long term private lessons aimed to support, develop and enhance children’s and adult’s learning in reference to academic subjects.
Following a lesson enquiry via the website, an agreement between a student (if above 18 years of age), a child’s parent or a school will be confirmed in writing via email or post. The agreement will include the subject requested, a starting date for the lessons, predicted duration of the lesson programme, time, length of each lesson and the agreed fee payable to Tutor on Target.
At the time of booking, the first lesson must be paid in full via bank transfer or in cash. Subsequent lessons must be paid at least 24 hours in advance or at the end of each lesson through the same methods of payment. A 5% discount is applicable to lessons booked and paid in a block of 8 lessons minimum.
The first lesson will include an initial assessment of the pupil’s educational needs for the subsequent preparation of an individual learning plan.
Lesson cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for single lessons or a week in advance for block bookings. Lesson bookings cancelled at short notice will be subject to payment in full and they are not refundable.
